This is a story level, and your introduction to the Beards. Just walk around and see what happens.

Bumping into invisible walls? Don't worry, this isn't a maze. Stick close to the grass (or walk on the grass!) and keep heading north, and you'll beat the level in no time.

The present can be found in a tower on the west-center side of the level. It can be seen through a small slit in the east side.

Find this set of stairs around the back of the eastern tower
On the east side, there is a set up stairs into a tower. Follow the stairs up and then fling west from the top of the tower. This will take you to the west tower. Drop down to the present.
All of the above achievements can also be obtained in later levels. You'll almost certainly get them by accident if you just continue playing normally.
Gimme Two Steps: Beat a level using just 2 walking steps.

The only two steps you need are the last two steps into the exit.

Even if you are holding shift/action button, it counts as a "step" instead of a "fling" if you only move one square.
Spoiler: Hint 3
From the start, you can fling: west, north, east, north, north (to other egg), south, west, north, north, north, east, north and then walk east, south. (Or the mirror image of that.)
